Suspension Explained

Lowering a car can be a relatively simple process, there are mainly 5 different types of suspension, leaf, coil (most common), air, hydraulic and torsion.

By lowering your car you can change the look, style and performance of your vehicle. Lowering a vehicle moves the center of gravity down, reducing air flow under the car which increases down force as the air will naturally want to flow over the vehicle

In most cases it is also important to replace shock absorbers to improve performance and match the level of spring with the amount of rebound. Bump stops may also need to be adjusted or replaced, any pipe or wiring needs to be checked that it will not be damaged by the new setup and break balance valves must be considered in front to back stance.
